More About Richard Sadler

Richard Sadler, ACA, Managing Director

Richard spent the first three years of his career at a top 20 city-firm in their local office and obtained the Accounting Technicians qualification in 2005 at the tender age of 21 achieving second overall place in the Country for his final examinations.

Richard then moved to the largest independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Watford and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1998 having received a District prize during his training.

During his career, Richard has handled a very interesting, diverse and challenging portfolio. He developed his natural interest in IT together with the traditional forms of accountancy and became a partner in April 2004 developing a mixed portfolio of owner managed businesses, private clients and specialist projects.

He was also responsible for IT services (both internal and external) and innovation and headed up the firm's IT Company.

Through the combination of his IT and Accountancy knowledge, he has a detailed knowledge of many business packages for small business including Sage and Quickbooks. He was also responsible for his previous firm becoming the South East's premier Sage 50 solution provider developing many bespoke reports, uses and set ups.

In 2010, Richard set up Accountancy Online.

Outside of work, Richard spends time with his family and enjoys golf, football and cricket. He is also the Treasurer (and an enthusiastic member!) of a local fishing club.
